Visited just after the resort and surrounding area had experienced unusually heavy snow causing road and other chaos. However, the resort was open, and they did all they could to help us have a great stay. You need a car here, the onsite …
Definitely recommend, had an amazing week stay with the family and our two dogs. The accommodation was perfect and very relaxing. Staff was so helpful and cheerful and always happy to help. The food in the on-site pub was fantastic and the …

Very friendly, clean and with all amenities we could need. A convenient shop, place to walk the dog, and a really good restaurant. We tried the local steak, battered fish, and pizza. All were excellent. The staff are all very helpful and …
It was ok. A solid 3. Kind of a glorified campground. That’s fine if that’s what you’re expecting, but the RCI website made it seem like a luxury villa. It is not. The food at the restaurant is excellent!
I booked this last year for my husband and I to get away with the dogs for a Monday to Friday. |The site is gorgeous, we arrived earlier than check in, our lodge wasn’t quite ready so we went for a quick drink in the bar and then a walk …
The location was amazing! Absolutely gorgeous! The grounds were well looked after. Service from reception was spot on too. We were told that the security deposit wouldn’t come out of our account however and even though it was a pre authorisation, it still came out of our account and we had a faff trying to get it sorted but got there in the end.
The lodge itself was brilliant, there was a plug socket in the kitchen that didn’t work but this didn’t cause us any problems that we couldn’t avoid. The light in our hot tub also didn’t work but there was one on the side of the lodge directly above. With me being an early riser, I loved going and sitting on the decking to enjoy my morning coffee whilst watching the 7 peacocks strutting around the lawn and between the properties.
Our biggest complaint was relating to the on site bar/restaurant. We went there for food on the Saturday, firstly the music they had on the telly (pure 00’s nostalgia) was pretty loud! Then when it finished an old Power Rangers started and seemed even louder!
Our food took two hours to come, starters of goats cheese and also whitebait took an hour, then our mains another hour after, when they eventually did come, after we’d chased their whereabouts several times (Gammon and chips and a fish and chips) the gammon was ordered with no peas as my fiancée really doesn’t like peas, the young lad behind the bar wrote that on the order slip too, but when it eventually came, we’d asked for it to be put in takeaway boxes as it was getting on for 9 and we just wanted to go back to the lodge and chill, the gammon was absolutely covered in peas! They offered to sort this but that would have either meant just scraping the peas off, leaving the flavour all over everything! Or waiting all over again. We decided to just leave it and they gave us the money back for the dish. My fiancée then wanted a bag of crisps just so she had eaten and to our surprise, we were then charged for the crisps too! I know to some this may seem like a so what but after waiting two hours for food to come out wrong, you’d think the least they could do would be to say just have them. I’d recommend staying at Brockwood Hall to anyone but just maybe swerve the restaurant for food.
Lovely clean lodge. Hot tub and sauna great. Loved the peacocks. Had to travel for things to do, walks, and went to the waterfall. Went in for food, was not very nice so went elsewhere. Chips were awful. Very quiet and peaceful stay. Only …
We stayed at Brockwood Hall in the Kent Lodge and whilst the surroundings were beautiful the experience and property sadly did not live up to the area.||The main issue with the stay was that for 2 of the days, work was being carried out …
